Sober Living Homes
The Training Center operates a live-in sober home with plans for more in the months ahead. The emphasis in the homes is on growing in Christ while finding productive ways to be a part of the community. Additional life skill-building classes include emotional life skills, coping skills, and anger management. In a culture of respect and community, the transformation of lives and families comes through the commitments of the highly engaged administration and staff members.
Prison Ministry
The outreach of the Training Center into the prison systems in Southern California and beyond make a lasting impact. High-powered motivation speakers including Former World Champion Skateboard Pastor Dennis Martinez have been sought out by the Justice Department for speaking engagements. The impact of the in-reach aspect of the Training Center has led to international speaking engagements including Brazil, Mexico, and the Cayman Islands.
Community Workshops and Engagement
Pastor Dennis Martinez and others have conducted workshops throughout Southern California including service to local law enforcement. The power of the testimony of changed lives has been effective in the community’s gang prevention and drug awareness programs. A curriculum that can be used in community organizations, as well as in public schools, is its beta stage of development.
Mothers with a Message is a partner of the Training Center
These women are mothers who lost a child to drugs or gang violence. Their message and teamwork with the Training Center is a unique combination that impacts everyone who hears the message.
